Katrien has a Master of Laws from the University of Leuven and a Master of European Law from the College of Europe-Bruges. She has 28 years of working experience, first as a legal advisor to the Belgian Prime Minister J-L. Dehaene, later as a Magistrate (référendaire) in the Belgian Constitutional Court, and currently as a partner of the Resilience Institute Europe. She is an accredited Resilience Trainer and Coach. She is certified to use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Passionate about the Resilience Institute’s evidence-based, integral and practical approach, Katrien is a dynamic keynote speaker, facilitator and coach. She puts here energy in supporting people, leaders and organisations to build and cultivate resilience. She is convinced that resilient people enable resilient organizations because they have the skills to meet performance challenges without compromising their wellbeing. Having lived in Belgium, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Katrien has unique insights into the opportunities and challenges involved in working within and across different cultures. She has worked extensively with corporates, banks, legal teams and law firms.
